Aromatherapy for depression

Aromatherapy has always been used whether many people realize it or not. The aromas in many bubble baths are made with concentrated essential oils that are taken from plants and used for various scents in our relaxing bubble baths. Do you not feel more relaxed after sitting in a nice warm bubble bath with the aroma of lavender? But, aromatherapy is also an alternative treatment that uses highly concentrated essential oils that has been known to treat people with mild forms of depression.

Aromatherapy is aimed at revitalizing the body and mind while lifting your spirits. Aromatherapy will aid in promoting a sense of well being. Aromatherapy is also known for easing mental fatigue and insomnia. When you use these wonderful essential oils in the correct blend for massages, baths, diffusers and even personal perfumes you will begin to benefit from the use of aromatherapy.

Using Aromatherapy for depression

Lavender has been proven to increase alpha waves in the back of the head which can relieve stress and tension and bring relaxation. Jasmine increase the beta waves in the front of the head which can give you a more alert and responsive state of mind.
