Navane: Drug and Possible Side Effects Information

Navane is a medication used to treat schizophrenia. More specifically, it treats psychotic conditions such as hallucinations, delusions, and confusion. Navane Dosage and Usage Information

This medication is to be taken exactly how it was prescribed to you by your doctor. Furthermore, you are not to stop this medication unless directed to do so by your doctor. If you take the liquid form of Navane you can mix it with water, fruit juice (any but apple juice), coffee, or carbonated beverage. This medication should not be mixed with cola or apple juice.

In Case of a Missed Dose

You would take the dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for your next dose (or very close to that time) then you would skip the missed dose and go back to the regularly scheduled one. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed one.

In Case of an Overdose

Navane Precautions

Before you take Navane you need make sure you are honest with your doctor about any and all existing medical conditions. For example,  you will need to inform your doctor if you have liver disease, kidney disease, heart disease, seizures, glaucoma, enlarged prostate, difficulty urinating or epilepsy.

You will also need to inform your doctor about any and all prescription and non-prescription medications you are taking. This would include any vitamins or diet supplements of any kind.

Those who are pregnant should be aware that the safety of Navane during this time has not been established. Therefore, you should inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Navane Storage and Disposal

This medication should be kept in the container it came in, tightly closed and away from children. Furthermore, it should be stored in a dry place at room temperature, and not in places such as the bathroom. All medication that is no longer needed or outdated should be thrown away.
