Thioridazine: Antipsychotic Medication, Side Effects and Precautions

Thioridazine is an antipsychotic medication that belongs to a group of medicines known as the phenothiazine antipsychotic. It is known also as a major tranquilizer. It treats symptoms of schizophrenia such as hallucinations, delusions, and hostility. It is also known by the brand names of Mellaril or Mellaril-S.
